In a stock market exchange filing, BPCL had informed about the final dividend payment, “The Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of Rs.6 per equity share for the financial year ended March 31, 2022, subject to the approval of the shareholders of the final dividend. The payment will be made within 30 days from the date of its declaration at the AGM. The final dividend is in addition to the first interim dividend of Rs.5/- per equity share. Its face value is Rs.10.
So much less profit in the first quarter
Public sector company Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has declined in profits. BPCL’s profit declined 27.6 per cent to Rs 1,501.65 crore in the April-June quarter of the current financial year. BPCL, which is on the path of privatization, had a net profit of Rs 2,076.17 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.
